Salt fork
JWT Japan helps people who shouldn't eat salt but would like to.

"Augmented Gustation" is the name of the technical trickery of the taste buds that JWT Japan has developed in collaboration with the University of Tokyo - if the gadget works as well as the case film would have us believe. The principle: an electrical impulse stimulates the region on the tongue that absorbs the salty taste and transmits it to the brain. This is supposed to make it possible to taste salt but not eat it. A solution for people who have to avoid salt for health reasons. But they don't want to, because it is well known that many dishes are simply inedible without the natural flavor enhancer.
An entire restaurant serving unsalted food has been opened based on the salt fork. Thanks to the electric cutlery, they are supposed to taste "just like the real thing". As is so often the case: you have to try it out - no words or casemovies will help. (hae)
