On October 22, the ADC admissions committee will decide who will be admitted to the club. According to Markus Gut, who is responsible for new members, the criteria for admission are the same as in previous years: Once again in 2009, only those who have made a substantial creative contribution to several award-winning works or who have otherwise achieved outstanding results in the field of advertising or design will be accepted.
Anyone wishing to apply for ADC membership should send a portfolio in A4 format of award-winning or award-worthy work and a DVD with the best TV or radio spots by October 19 to the office: Art Directors Club, Oberdorfstrasse 15, 8001 Zurich.
This year, the admission committee is composed as follows: The co-chair Markus Gut, Alexander Jaggy, Markus Ruf and Martin Spillmann, the board members Daniel Krieg, Valentina Herrmann, Andreas Prokesch, Urs Schrepfer and Geri Aebi. As well as ADC members Petra Bottignole, Remy Fabrikant, John Leuppi, Patrick Senn and Markus Tränkle.
