"Unbelievable. Indescribable. Awesome!"

To mark the ZVV’s anniversary, the Zurich Lake and Oberland Transport Authority (VZO) produced a film that humorously commemorates its launch on May 27, 1990. The idea came from the Forster Ehrler agency.

25 years ago, the transport companies of the canton of Zurich merged to form the Zurich Transport Association (ZVV). The bus, train, streetcar and boat timetables were coordinated. And there was one ticket for everything. Suddenly you could travel quickly and easily throughout the canton to work, to school or to go out. The anniversary film shows the enthusiasm of the people of the Zurich Oberland for the new freedom to travel. It also pays homage to the clothing and hairstyle fashions of the time. The film can currently be seen on various news portals.

Responsible at VZO: Werner Trachsel (Director), Joe Schmid (Head of Marketing and Quality) Adrian Suter (Marketing Project Manager).
