Brand agency sponsors "breaking point
On Friday evening, By Heart hosted a gallery visit for the «Sollbruchstelle» exhibition at Werdstrasse 126. The art project “Sollbruchstelle,” which explores the transition from old to new buildings, is sponsored by the brand identity agency.
Sollbruchstelle curates exhibitions in and on buildings that are to be demolished and replaced by new structures. For this purpose, it invites artists who pay tribute to the dying building one last time with their work - and also take a look into the future with their works. The art in the current exhibition on Werdstrasse will also disappear when the building is demolished.
By Heart supports Sollbruchstelle because it "wantonly creates a precarious state of transition and pleasurably occupies it with art. And because it thereby opens the view for messages that are completely realized in the here and now." As an agency for brand appearances, he says, it is "also oriented toward the possibilities and instruments of art."

One of the invited artists is Nora Steiner. She painted the windows of the former car body shop to do something special for the last time with the light that has invaded the space over the decades.

Jürg Egli used the sunlight and rain penetrating through the collapsed skylight to grow a moss field in the room. He discovered this primordial plant, which has existed for 380-450 million years, on the roof of the dilapidated building. On the moss field sprouts a rapidly decaying cress bed in the form of the sleeping artist.

The agency celebrated on Friday with clients, partners and friends at Werdstrasse and organized for the occasion two tours of the gallery in the presence of the artists.
