Pop music in the museum inspires the audience
Just over 77,000 people visited the Museum of Communication in Bern last year, slightly fewer than the previous year. The temporary exhibitions on rituals and pop music in Switzerland were particularly popular.
The exhibition "Rituals. A Guide to Life" was dedicated to the small and large rituals that accompany us through everyday life and festive days. 31,000 interested people saw the exhibition, 90 percent of the visitors rated it as good to very good, according to a press release. On view until July is the temporary exhibition "Oh Yeah! Pop Music in Switzerland". According to the museum, it was very well received in an initial survey: Over 96 percent of visitors expressed very positive opinions. Starting in fall 2015, the museum plans to address a current socio-political topic: "Dialogue with Time" is an exhibition about aging. (SDA)
