Alpha245: Happy films for Wilmaa TV
"Wilmaa offers many more features that sweeten the viewing experience.": To make these known to the general public, Wilmaa Digital World commissioned the Alpha 245 agency to create a television commercial.
At the beginning, the creative team at Letzigraben thought about how they could show the many advantages of Wilmaa without making the film look like a long commercial. And decided not to make one TV commercial for Wilmaa, but nine. One for each individual feature. With the same production budget. The Alphas did not see this as a problem, but rather as a challenge to develop a very simple and independent film style for Wilmaa.
The result is animated cartoons in the style of Czech children's programs from days gone by. Nine single-minded short spots with a pinch of hearty humor: Wilmaa as a Christmas present shows a family enjoying the wide range of programs on offer in front of the TV while the Christmas tree burns in the background. The puffing Fidel Castro demonstrates that anyone can create their own program with Wilmaa. A skeleton eating popcorn in front of the TV experiences the possibility of recording films and watching them again and again. And many more. The small, fine and self-sufficient films already have a fan base on TV and the Internet.
