Wapico: In the name of biodiversity

The Bern-based agency Wapico has conceived and produced four TV commercials for IP-Suisse. All of them aim to raise awareness of and build popularity for IP-Suisse as a 25-year-old farmers' organization and highlight its key services.

Just a quarter of a century old, IP-Suisse commissioned Wapico to create new TV commercials. The organization, which has over 20,000 farms, has been using TV advertising for almost ten years. To mark its 25th anniversary, the advertising and communications agency wapico came up with something special: a TV quiz for television.

Naturally, a moderator asks questions about IP-Suisse or its achievements - for example, it is a Swiss pioneer of biodiversity and its promotion with a special points system. The players are animals. And not pets, but wild ones. According to the press release, they are living proof that IP-Suisse works with nature and also protects it. Incidentally, the animals were filmed live, with very little post-production effects. The films can now be seen on all relevant Swiss channels and in the windows of private foreign broadcasters. A sequel is planned for 2015.
