Is Roger Köppel considering a political career?

Roger Köppel is on tour with his lecture «Situation Analysis Following the Policy Decision of February 9.» On Thursday, he spoke at the Gasthof Schützen in Aarau to an audience of about 250 people. Sonntagsblick alleges that he is acting like a politician, not a journalist.

Roger Köppel acted like a political actor when he hammered home the "enormous strengths of Switzerland" to the community and simply brushed aside disruptive arguments, writes Sonntagsblick. The same applies to the self-financed tour of Switzerland, the home story in Schweizer Illustrierte, and finally the motto he has given himself: "Fully committed to Switzerland" - all typical actions of a politician.

When asked whether he should not consequently run for the National Council, the Weltwoche boss told Sonntagsblick: "There may come a time when you have to enter this arena." According to Sonntagsblick, he denies any current ambitions, but admits that he is asking himself the question.
