Valencia: Campaign for Coop Disney action

From October 14 to November 30, Coop is offering five Disney collectible stickers for every 20 francs spent during its fall collection promotion. Valencia was commissioned to design and implement the entire communication for the collectible fun.

After the great successes of Big Win and Simsala Win (also implemented by Valencia: Werbewoche.ch reported), the next big promotion is now coming up at Coop: The Magical World of Disney. With Mickey and Minnie, Dusty from Planes, the Disney princesses, Winnie the Pooh and many more. "When our agency found out about the new promotion, we saw shiny little eyes everywhere," admits creative director Tommy Schilling in a statement. "I don't think there's anyone who hasn't been permanently influenced by Disney. Disney awakens childhood dreams in us - no matter how old you are."

This magic then had to be made visible effectively in the advertising. Since Disney characters are the best ambassadors for Disney, it was soon clear that they should play a leading role in the TV spot. Thus, in Hollywood style, a cinema and TV spot was created to make Coop Promotion known throughout Switzerland: with lots of excitement, even more fun, breathtaking action and magical moments. In addition, advertisements, posters, flyers, a competition and all POS advertising materials including an in-store spot were created and implemented. The matching scrapbook as well as the numerous collectible pictures come from Panini.

In addition, Hello Family Club members received a direct mailing presenting the Disney promotion. With lots of Disney information, coloring sheets, free stickers, the raffle of 10 family trips to Disneyland Paris and many exclusive discounts, the collecting fever is fanned right at the start of the promotion.
