Le Temps markets advertising itself
Starting in January, the French-Swiss daily newspaper Le Temps will handle its own advertising sales. Le Temps Media, previously a subsidiary of the advertising agency Publicitas, will be integrated into the publishing house .
The cooperation with Publicitas will be "reshaped," the publishing house announced on Friday evening. Publicitas will continue to market advertising space in the daily newspaper, supplements, special editions and digital media of Le Temps - but no longer exclusively.
Le Temps will outsource its ad management system and back-office services to Xentive. With the implementation of Mediaspectrum's pioneering system solution, sales, production, processing and billing of multi-channel advertising solutions will be seamlessly linked on a single platform, according to a statement. This is expected to significantly increase the degree of automation in the processing of advertising. (pd/SDA)
