Change in management at Cinergy
Roman H. Schmid is now responsible for operational management at Cinergy. He replaces Karim Zekri.
Teleboy split off from Cinergy last March and became an independent stock corporation. Until recently, Karim Zekri had been managing director of both Cinergy and Teleboy. In future, he will concentrate fully on the expansion and further development of Teleboy, but will continue to work in the background for Cinergy in his role as a member of the Board of Directors.
Roman H. Schmid, a well-qualified managing director, has been found to succeed Karim Zekri at Cinergy, according to a press release. The 28-year-old Swiss national was CEO of Mindprep, a publisher of learning materials for students at Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. Among other things, he drove the development of the first integrated online learning and testing platform at tertiary level and the underlying business models. Prior to this, he worked in various roles at Credit Suisse and as a project manager for the retail expansion of an international fashion brand. Roman H. Schmid studied political science and business administration at the University of Zurich.
