YB and Adcom enter into partnership

Stade de Suisse Wankdorf National Stadium and Adcom Motion have signed a partnership agreement for YB merchandise. Adcom will take over the BSC Young Boys merchandise license for the upcoming 2013/14 soccer season.

According to the press release, the collaboration covers the entire fan store range, its design, production, operation of the e-shop and sales both in the stadium and at other locations. Alain Kappeler, COO of Stade de Suisse Wankdorf National Stadium: "With Adcom, we have a competent partner at our side who knows the Bernese environment, is a merchandising professional and has already made a name for itself in other projects. We want to further develop the range of fan merchandise and sales and present our fans with an attractive selection."

Adcom Motion, which specializes in promotional products and merchandising, has many years of experience in fan merchandise. Among other things, the Baar-based company has been running the SC Bern fan store for three years. Andrea Schilter, Managing Director of Adcom Motion: "We are proud to be able to serve the second major club in the capital after SCB. Merchandising is very important for the emotionalization of the club and the brand. Together, we will develop an attractive range to inspire the YB fan community." Adcom is also currently developing a concept that focuses on the Bern brand. This should also give smaller Bernese clubs the opportunity to benefit from the Bern brand and offer attractive merchandising in French-speaking Switzerland.
