Beling Thoenen Design: Magazine Caminada realized

Star chef Andreas Caminada is launching a magazine about culinary culture. The magazine, which features photography and inspiring recipes, is designed and produced by Beling Thoenen Design.

Quite simply Caminada is the name of the magazine that the Grisons native launched on December 10. The publisher is star chef Andreas Caminada from Fürstenau. As with all his projects, he pursued "an approach of uniqueness and the highest quality" with his magazine, according to a press release.

Caminada used the services of Beling Thoenen Design for the realization. "The collaboration was enriching because Andreas Caminada has a particularly good sense of creativity and placed a lot of trust in us," say Ulrike Beling and Nina Thoenen from the Zurich agency. The two owners designed and realized Caminada in a team with Hildebrandt Firmenpublizistik.

The introduction to Caminada is formed by a thematic focus with five stories, consisting of double-page pictures, a text and a culinary creation inspired by the story. The introductory section shows the close connection between the Grisons terroir and Andreas Caminada's cuisine. The middle section "Entremet" (French for "intermediate course") focuses on "Research, discover, design, preserve". The third section, "Craft - process, result, enjoyment", includes numerous recipes and features food photography by Milan-based team Oriani Origone. The magazine's high standards are underlined by an exclusive design in three types of paper, a special color and an insert with recipe cards, according to the press release. Swiss photographer Stephan Schacher is responsible for the cover.
