Thomas Vollmoeller is the new CEO of Xing
Thomas Vollmoeller (52) takes over as CEO today at Xing, the leading professional network in the German-speaking world. He succeeds Stefan Gross-Selbeck, who announced in May that he would be pursuing new professional challenges.
After completing his studies, Thomas Vollmoeller worked for ten years at McKinsey & Co. in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Since 1997, he has held various positions at Tchibo, most recently as a member of the management board for the entire non-food division. During his time at Tchibo, Thomas Vollmoeller successfully built up the e-commerce business, among other things. In 2008, he moved to the Valora Group, where he took on the role of CEO.
