Last but not least: Grüezi Gott, dear Zurichers
Swiss linguistic subtleties are one thing. German editors not infrequently stumble over the minimal differences to their mother tongue. No need to make fun of it.

An understandable difficulty: After all, Google.de returns 212,00 results for "Züricher Geschnetzeltes", but only 192,000 for "Zürcher Geschnetzeltes". The Tages-Anzeiger could not accept the reproach: Patrick Kühnis discreetly referred to the fact that throwing stones is also strictly prohibited in the NZZ Glass House:

As an uninvolved observer, Werbewoche.ch of course immediately clarified the objection in the Swiss Media Database (SMD). As it turned out, the Z-word has been used by NZZ a whopping 40 times in the last 10 years:

Incidentally, the Tages-Anzeiger took up the issue early on. This is evidenced by the following screenshot from Janaur 2012 of the Süddeutsche Zeitung's coverage of the Hildebrand affair. The battery has been recharged in the meantime. (hae)
