C-Factor: Animated short film for VSE

On behalf of the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE), C-Factor, in collaboration with Eclipse Studios, produced an animated short film that explains the various scenarios for Switzerland’s future electricity supply.

According to a press release, the short film aims to briefly and concisely explain how Switzerland can secure its electricity supply without nuclear power plants. Reference is made to the study "Paths to the new electricity future", which VSE developed together with 50 industry experts.

C-Factor conceived and produced the three-minute film together with Eclipse Studios. The film focuses on VSE Director Michael Frank and his flipchart. Supported by animated hand drawings, Frank explains three scenarios for the Swiss electricity supply in 2050 and the consequences these would have for society, politics and the energy sector. According to the press release, the film is not limited to explaining, but invites viewers to form their own opinion on the topic of electricity supply.
