Circuit 4+5: A design weekend around the Langstrasse
More than 90 shops and studios in Zurich’s City Districts 4 and 5 will be showcasing their work during the “Kreislauf 4+5” event on the weekend of May 14 and 15, 2011. Come discover the Langstrasse neighborhood and its diverse creative scene.
The circulation book with neighborhood maps and editorial contributions portrays all the stores involved and helps you on your discovery tour. Tours with "familiar acquaintances": Those who don't want to explore the district individually can join a tour. Yannick Aellen, Laurence Antiglio, Christa de Carouge, Daniel Freitag, Hannes Hug, Play Hunter, Andrew Katumba, Clifford Lilley, Michèle Roten and Rolf Vieli will take you on one-and-a-half to two-hour tours of their favorite stores on Sunday, May 15, 2011.
This year, the Architekturforum at Brauerstrasse 16 in Kreis 4 is the official Kreislauf meeting place. The photographs that Sandro Fiechter, Peter Hauser and Daniel Tischler took for the Kreislauf book are being shown in an exhibition. Their pictures, which they took as free works in the district, will be sold exclusively as small edition prints. The Architecture Forum will also be offering drinks and snacks in a café throughout the weekend.
The store will be open on Saturday, May 14, 2011, and Sunday, May 15, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
