Bernese Communication Award to Steff la Cheffe
The Bern-based PR firm BPRG has awarded Steff la Cheffe—whose real name is Stefanie Peter—the 2011 Bern Communications Award.
"Steff la Cheffe inspires as a beatboxer and rapper. But she is also a convincing communicator who knows how to use the various communication tools with virtuosity," says Béatrice Wertli, president of the BPRG, explaining the choice. "She provides up-to-date, brief and clear information about Facebook or on their Website. With her column in the Berner Zeitung, she lets us share her view of the world. She is an exciting and individual interview partner, she is authentic, sets topics and is not afraid to touch hot potatoes. Stefanie Peter is a figurehead for Bern and Bernese communication and a deserving winner of the Berner Kommunikationspreis 2011".
Every year, the BPRG awards a prize for communication to a person who achieves exceptional communicative achievements without the corresponding specialist training. As of this year, the event takes place under the title "Berner Kommunikationspreis" (Bernese Communication Award) and is intended to become a fixed point in the Bernese communication year. The award ceremony will take place this evening at Du Théâtre (by invitation).
