The Basel-based advertising agency Favo has founded two subsidiaries in the Internet sector: Webdotcom and Stormvision (Switzerland). Thus, the Favo Group expands to a new five companies. "I don't see the future of the agency in growth, but in individual competence units," explains Werner Vogel, owner of Favo. Webdotcom deals with e-commerce, web design and internet conception, Stormvision is responsible for animations and computer films. Vogel attaches great importance to a clear separation of tasks among the five companies.Since its founding in February, business has developed rapidly at Webdotcom. Practically without any self-promotion, Vogel says, a large number of customers have been acquired, including companies such as Manor, Migros and FC Basel. At the moment, Webdotcom employs five people, but "that's not enough," says Favo boss Vogel, "at the back and front." New computer scientists are constantly being sought. (ba)
