Wirz will burn a meaty advertising seduction for Hiltl
Wirz will use a meaty ad for HiltlFresh and cheeky" is how CD Matthias Freuler wanted to design an ad for the vegetarian restaurant Hiltl in Zurich. Not Frankfurterli or Wienerli, but a newly created Parisian sausage is to appear in a special edition of the NZZ on February 28. This will deal exclusively with the topic of mad cow disease. "So it's an ideal environment for a restaurant that focuses entirely on vegetarian food. At least as long as there is no carrot madness," Freuler is convinced. Dani Müller and Regula Geiser as copywriters and AD Barbara Hartmann also put their two cents in on the sausage for Wirz Werbung. Rolf Hiltl liked the idea. Although the gag is neither kosher nor chaste, the Parisian sausage as a safe food is an ideal addition to Hiltl's advertising menu. Just think of the poster showing a carnivorous plant that mistakenly spit out a carrot, or the "bombastic" strawberry poster on Zurich's Füsslistrasse that joked about a bomb threat received by the local Swisscom store. It will be interesting to see which idea Matthias Freuler and his team will use in the next vegetarian course.
