Festland launches Drive, a magazine for public and club golfers
Mainland launches Drive, a magazine for public and club golfersInterest in golf is increasingly taking hold even among people who cannot afford club dues equivalent to a mid-range car. In recent years, the so-called public golfers have grown to such an extent that club golfers are already slightly outnumbered. The assumption that golf is in the process of becoming a popular sport is further substantiated by the efforts of Migros, which is building public golf courses at various locations in Switzerland, and by the fact that St.Galler Tagblatt AG is publishing the new golf magazine Drive. The special-interest title, which is intended to be read by "old" and "new" golfers, is launched by a commanding performance by the St.Gallen advertising agency Festland. page 10
