AZ Medien doubles profit
The AZ Medien Group posted record results in fiscal year 2000. Operating revenue rose by more than 5 percent compared with the previous year, reaching 180.3 million Swiss francs.

Operating income rose by more than 5 percent over the previous year to 180.3 million Swiss francs.The AZ Medien Group achieved a record result in the 2000 financial year. Operating revenues rose by more than 5 percent over the previous year to 180.3 million Swiss francs. Net income grew by 93 percent to 8.7 million francs. This increase was based on higher revenues, the AZ Medien Group announced. In addition, improvements in business processes had enabled substantial cost savings.
