Neither poster nor screen, but advertising
C-Line and Face Launch Active Screens in Pharmacies and Restaurants
C-Line and Face launch Active Screens in pharmacies and eateriesThe term Active Screen is used for various things. For example, for the giant electronic screens. The first one in Switzerland was inaugurated by APG last spring in Zurich's main railway station. However, the latest Active Screen, which was recently presented by the Wiler agency C-Line, is a screen in Baby B12 format (approx. 90 x 42 cm). It is neither an illuminated poster nor a screen, but a mixture of the two. The animation to be seen on it primarily has the function of an eye-catcher. It is created by a precision lens, behind which a special print consisting of three individual images is moved back and forth in slow motion. The entire image sequence takes around 10 seconds to complete, meaning that the entire advertisement can be seen "in passing".C-Line's Active Screen is particularly suitable for advertising campaigns at the POS or locations with high footfall. The first two deployments are a pilot project. They include Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola, which will be the first advertising clients to use Active Screens from July. Procter & Gamble is doing this in around 100 top pharmacies in Switzerland with the product Metamucil. Coca-Cola will be present in 20 of Zurich's trendy restaurants.
The company C-Line AG in Wil SG started with floor posters four years ago and is already the market leader in this area. It has brought the Frauenfeld agency Face AG on board as a partner for the new advertising medium. For its part, it is the market leader in the field of toilet advertising (toilet communication).
