Expansion at the work yard!

A few months ago, we reported here on the inauguration party of the film factory Das Werk in Zurich-Altstetten. by Beat Fritsch Always stay in the conversation, said the Werkhof employees from Altstetten and last week invited guests to the inauguration and screening of their newly acquired Cintel-C-Reality film scanner. Incidentally, it is the only one of its kind in our country, as Nicole Schweitzer from the Zurich plant assured us. And because the people were already there, they also showed off the recently completed Philippemoritz recording studio by Philippe Schmid and Moritz Schneider.
This thing would make any high-end freak green with envy! It's not too big and therefore nice and neat, but still packed with the very best technology. The guys have just completed another round of investment and upgraded it considerably. Although the explanations sounded a little too technical for laypeople, the sound demo was all the more impressive. A studio like this would also be worth considering for home use. The neighbors would certainly be delighted to be able to enjoy rich, unadulterated bass even on the top floor of a six-storey building.
It was a balmy summer evening on which the predicted thunderstorms fortunately failed to materialize. Ideal for a barbecue on the beautiful factory sun terrace with a view of Uto Kulm and down into the Limmat Valley. The barbecues also left nothing to be desired, and the barbecue master had his hands full. The latest information was exchanged at the long garden tables and memories of Cannes were rekindled. Oliver Neubert from Primetime reported that he had hired She-DJ Marysol from Chile for the Primetime festival at the beginning of September. He discovered her at the Soundscape event at the advertising film festival. We're already looking forward to a (roaring) party!
Almost the same evening, another member of the Werk family saw the light of day. Plant Managing Director Roger Koller had to drive home very quickly after receiving a phone call. Amniotic sac broke, labor started! Roger's wife was about to give birth, and we now know that the youngest member of the Werk family is a boy called Finn. Congratulations to the happy parents!
Beat Fritsch remembered his missed career as a musician and stood behind the microphone at the Philippemoritz recording studio in Zurich for a short serenade (applause!).

Where there are usually parties, we will be attending a wide variety of events in the scene. Do you already have something to report? Pick up the phone (01 296 97 98) or hit the keys (info@werbewo che.ch).
