Cablecom must continue to broadcast Teleclub Digital
Cable Network Operator: The Appeals Commission for Competition Issues has dismissed a complaint filed by Cablecom.
Cable network operator The Appeals Commission for Competition Issues has rejected an appeal by Cablecom, which had appealed against a precautionary measure by the Competition Commission (ComCo) obliging it to transmit the digital television program offering of Teleclub AG. Cablecom operates its own digital program offering and justified its refusal by arguing that consumers have to use special receivers for these programs that are not compatible with other offerings.
