In a new anthology entitled "Hole in the Wall", 78 young creatives present 137 works with which they have "broken through the wall of clichés in their heads." The title of the book wants to say that behind the wall of clichés and conventions "a place of freedom awaits those who are without fear". If not now, then when - "Designers break traditions" is the subtitle of the creative showcase. The ideas in this book do indeed appear fresh and raw, "because they have not yet been ironed out", as editor Judith M. Grieshaber says. Karl Gerstner and Manfred Kröplien have also contributed a foreword. The book is supplemented by a CD-ROM, on which websites and short commercials are presented. "Hole in the Wall" is published by Hatje Cantz Verlag in Stuttgart (ISBN 3-7757-9121-3).
