RTSI reports profit and good ratings
SRG, the television and radio broadcaster for Italian-speaking Switzerland (RTSI), closed the 2002 fiscal year with a profit of 2.7 million Swiss francs.
SRG Television and Radio of Italian-speaking Switzerland (RTSI) closed the 2002 financial year with a profit of CHF 2.7 million. 68.8 percent of the Ticino radio station's market share was achieved. Those who tuned in to the station listened to the programs for an average of 74 minutes per day. Ticino television achieved a market share of 36.5 percent during prime time. The average daily figure was 29.6%, as reported by the RTSI Regional Council in a press release.
