Application for Zurich youth radio underway

Private radio The Federal Office of Communications (Bakom) has opened the tender for a new youth radio station in Zurich. Applications will be accepted until August 27 and the station will be aimed at 15 to 24-year-olds. Applicants should submit their own proposals on how to ensure that the music profile is youth-oriented and how their program should be structured in the areas of news, youth culture and services. The Federal Council is expected to decide on the award in winter 2003/04.
