Swisscom Broadcast has cut the connection to the cable network because Intro-TV owes it around CHF 70000. The cable channel has gone silent in around a quarter of the 220000 households previously served, including in the Olten region, as Managing Director Simon Schmidli told the SDA news agency. Every effort is being made to restore service to the affected areas as quickly as possible. According to Intro-TV, this costs the "horrendous sum of well over CHF 100,000" per year, which the broadcaster cannot afford.
