Last but not least: Note to the editor
How good are the chances of getting a note not intended for the public into a newspaper like the Tagesanzeiger? Not very good. Unless you use a Trojan horse.
As of today, this would be the SDA for the Tagesanzeiger. Because trust in the press service sometimes seems to go so far that texts are not simply copied in full. They don't even seem to have the time to read them through. And so sometimes a note to the editors slips into the article. This happened on Wednesday, early in the morning. In its report on the founding of the new company by Ringer and Axel Springer, the SDA attached a note to the editors. The Tagesanzeiger.ch has now printed this report one-to-one at 6 a.m. and posted it on the Internet. Which in itself need not be a problem. However, in this case the Tagi not only demonstrated its complete trust in the SDA, but unfortunately forgot to remove the note to the editors. So now, at the end of the text, it says: "Ringier and Axel Springer are organizing a media conference on Wednesday (today) to launch the new company. Note to editors: The MK of Ringier and Axel Springer will take place at 10 a.m. at Ringier's headquarters in Zurich. SDA will cover the event." Funny, but just a peccadillo. This could just as easily happen in any other online editorial office, which is happy to take on an SDA report under time pressure.
