More money for TV professionals

Fee splitting The federal government is distributing a good CHF 5 million from reception fees to private TV stations for the current year, CHF 1 million less than in the previous year, using a new distribution formula: 80 percent will continue to be distributed according to the financial figures of the stations, while the remainder will be distributed according to the professional experience of the journalists employed. In this way, the Federal Office of Communications wants to reward the stations' efforts to ensure high program quality, as reported by SDA.
