A Gertsch for your birthday

Agencies LangGysi Knoll presents its clients with art To mark the company's 10th anniversary, the heads of the Bern-based advertising agency LangGysi Knoll came up with a thank-you gift with the potential to add value. Once again this year, they invited all employees, clients, media and production staff, press and friends to the agency party, which as usual was all about art. This year, however, they did not stay in Bern, but called the large crowd of guests to neighboring Burgdorf - more precisely to the Franz Gertsch Museum. There they were treated to an interesting guided tour of the current exhibition "Ostwind" - contemporary artists from the Far East - and the permanent collection of the famous Swiss photorealist, followed by an exquisite aperitif and a witty speech by co-owner Silvano Spezia. In it, he traced the arc from the founding of the agency to the present day and mused with relish about the resilient company name, which even the departure of two founding fathers did nothing to change. The clients are spared the unspeakable initials-bandworms that are typical of the advertising scene, quipped Spezia, referring to the other tradition: the LGK art series. Every year, the agency gives away a work by a Swiss artist as a thank-you gift. This year, this custom was crowned with a Gertsch serigraph, which was presented thanks to the artist and Stefan Wimmer, Managing Director of Galerie im Park. After the unveiling, the party retired to the romantic Kulturraum Alpina, where they were able to indulge in gastronomic art until the early hours of the morning.
