Plazamedia replaced TV Productioncenter Zürich in the second half of last season. The focus was on cost savings for Sat 1 Schweiz. The new season begins on Sat 1 Switzerland on August 15. Plazamedia employs around 40 people and ten cameras for production. The former subsidiary of the Kirch Group also produces the German Soccer League as general contractor for its marketer Infront.
