Committee of the Council of States against media article

Media policy The State Policy Committee (SPK) of the Council of States is against direct press subsidies, rejecting the media article approved by the National Council last fall on Tuesday by 7 votes to 4 with one abstention. According to committee president Jean Studer, it is in favor of continuing the current system with a reduction in postal taxes. However, it is calling for a bill for a more targeted use of these funds.
