High priest of the "Nobrow"

«Brow» is an English word that means "eyebrow.".

"In the motherland of the entertainment industry, "highbrow" has always stood for real, i.e. elitist art and "lowbrow" for commercial mass taste. In "Nobrow", the New York journalist uses MTV, blockbusters and other pop phenomena to document how (in his view) what belongs together is finally growing together and becoming indistinguishable in the globalized attention economy: Culture and marketing. The beauty of this light and fluffy, but by no means undemanding book is that the liberating dissolution of boundaries that it states or propagates is redeemed by "Nobrow" itself.
