German TV supervisory authority grants Bakom a hearing

Media policyAt a meeting with representatives of the German Conference of Directors of the State Media Authorities, the Federal Office of Communications (Bakom) raised the issue of Swiss windows for German TV stations. The heads of the broadcasters agreed to inform Bakom in future before windows are approved. They assured that violations of Swiss advertising regulations would be punished and invited OFCOM to also forward program complaints from Swiss viewers.
