Television Local broadcaster Intro-TV has gone bankrupt and will cease broadcasting with immediate effect. The television station for the Solothurn region is owned by the private broadcaster U1, which was no longer prepared to finance Intro-TV on its own, according to a press release. According to the trade union Comedia, U1 has repeatedly failed to pay the salaries of Intro-TV employees on time in recent months. Comedia also contradicts Intro-TV's claim that U1 has offered the affected employees equivalent positions.
