Without Arche, the Zurich-based charity founded in 1980, 400 more addicts and socially disadvantaged people would be on the streets every year. 400 addicts and marginalized people have been helped back into normal life by the institution for a quarter of a century. Drug misery is now hidden, and the Arche has to ensure that those who want to quit and those at risk of addiction do not end up on the streets again, thanks to a shortage of state funding. The understanding and support of the public is therefore of great importance for the work of the Arche. The Arche's anniversary campaign was conceived and realized by Frank Bernhardt (art direction/concept) and Hans Peter Brugger (text/concept), both from Basel. It combines a thank you with an appeal to continue to make the work of the Ark possible in the future. The donation mailing contains forget-me-not seeds, packaged by former addicts who now work at the Arche nursery in Uitikon.
