TeleTicino loses due to reduced splitting

Regional TV The Ticino private broadcaster TeleTicino closed the 2004 financial year with a loss of 108,000 francs (previous year: minus 105,000 francs), but unlike in 2003, sales in the commercial sector increased significantly (by 8.5 percent). The loss is solely due to the cuts in the fee shares by the Federal Office of Communications. In 2004, TeleTicino received only three quarters of the legally possible fee splitting.
