Plakanda spurns Swiss Poster Research

Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel Plakanda (CCP) has unexpectedly suspended its participation in the Swiss Poster Research study.

Out-of-home advertising company Clear Channel Plakanda (CCP) has surprisingly suspended its involvement in Swiss Poster Research, as the analysis of the data from the Winterthur pilot project showed that the research concept did not adequately reflect the reality at poster sites, writes CCP. This assessment was also shared by its partner APG, but no agreement was reached on the necessary measures. In CCP's opinion, it has been recognized internationally that GPS data alone is not sufficient to adequately measure billboard performance. CCP is now proposing to work with the German working group Media-Analyse to find a regional language solution.
