Lürzer's Archive: Student of the Year 2010 announced
Once again, students from the Miami Ad School have received the «Lürzer’s Archive Student of the Year» award. This year’s award went to an ad with the slogan «Wüsthof – Redefining Sharp» by Art Director Samuel Huber and Copywriter Oddbjorn Stensrud, both students at the Miami Ad School in Hamburg.
The decision was made by a jury consisting of Keeichi Uemura, Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon Tokyo, Japan and Icaro Doria, Art Director of Goodby, Silverstein San Francisco and Editor-in-Chief Michael Weinzettl, as well as 7,456 votes. 952 of the votes went to the "Wüsthof - Redifining Sharp" ad. The winners will take part in the Golden Drum Slovenia in October 2010, where they will receive the "Students of the Year" trophy - the "Lürzer's Archive Sixpack". The best 26 campaigns from universities of applied sciences and universities also made it into the international advertising magazine Lürzer's Archive.

The award was launched in 2004 to offer students of advertising and communication design a platform for their work. A number of readers - including well-known names from the world of advertising - initiated this competition for young advertising talent.
