Swiss Post and thjnk Zurich: «My Shipments» Makes Packages Mobile
A new campaign by Swiss Post and thjnk Zurich shows how customers can flexibly manage their package deliveries using the «My Shipments» app—accompanied by a young hiker and a global hit by the Proclaimers.

«My Shipments» Post: Flexible—whenever and wherever it's convenient
Swiss people are often not at home when packages or registered letters arrive. Swiss Post is addressing this everyday problem with «My Shipments»—a service accessible via the Swiss Post app that, according to Swiss Post, allows registered customers to actively manage their deliveries. The service is designed not only to provide information on the status of a shipment but also to offer specific options for making changes: from specifying a preferred delivery day and time to choosing an alternative delivery address or having the package redirected to a «PickPost» location or a «My Post 24» kiosk.
To promote this service to a broad audience, Swiss Post has teamed up with thjnk Zurich to develop a new campaign that explores the theme of flexibility in package delivery in an entertaining and emotional way.
A Hiker, a Mother, and «My Shows»
The campaign centers on a young man who sets out on his first major hike through Switzerland. While he walks naively through the countryside, his mother works behind the scenes to ensure he’s always supplied with the essentials—she sends him packages. Thanks to «My Shipments,» the hiker can have each package delivered right where he is at that moment, no matter which route he takes. And every package contains exactly what he needs at that moment.
The Proclaimers provide the soundtrack to this scenario with their global hit «I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)»—a musical choice that aptly underscores the message of mobility and perseverance.
«The campaign shows how the key customer need for flexibility in delivery is translated into a concrete offering—and underscores the promise »Swiss Post makes it possible,’” explains Michel Noverraz, Head of Brand Management at Swiss Post.
Distribution Across Multiple Channels
The campaign is now airing on TV, in movie theaters, online, on social media, on digital out-of-home (DOOH) screens, and on Swiss Post’s own channels. The broad media reach of the campaign is designed to ensure that «My Shipments» is noticed in various everyday contexts—whether on the go, at the movies, or while scrolling through social media.
