What the Duck Boosts Wingo's Social Media Presence with Strategy and Creativity
The Zurich-based social media agency What the Duck is now supporting Wingo across all social media channels—providing strategic guidance and creative content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

The Zurich-based social media agency What the Duck is now supporting Wingo Social Media across all relevant channels. The two have been working together since February—with the goal of positioning Wingo as a simple and flexible everyday brand on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
More Than Just Plans and Gigabytes
Wingo, a Swisscom brand, specifically targets a young, price-conscious, and digitally savvy audience in the telecommunications segment—namely, mobile, internet, and TV. The company now aims to engage this audience in a more conscious and targeted manner on social media. According to the press release, in this competitive market environment, it’s not just about communicating about plans and gigabytes—even though that remains relevant. Building a connection with the target audience is at least as important. Wingo should be clearly perceived on social media as a simple and flexible brand for everyday life.
What the Duck: Strategy and Creativity as a USP
To achieve this goal, Wingo is partnering with What the Duck. The collaboration began in February 2026. Laila Kalman, Head of Social Media Consulting at What the Duck, describes what sets the agency apart: «We always think strategically from the brand’s perspective. Of course, we do that for Wingo, too. And building on that, we create content that’s truly enjoyable.»
Specifically, What the Duck supports the Wingo social media team with strategic direction—while also providing creative content. The agency develops new formats, devises “always-on” ideas, and adapts campaign content for social media channels. According to the press release, the first organic content and implementations for Wingo’s spring campaign are already visible.
Wingo Social Media: A Breath of Fresh Air for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
The partnership covers Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. What the Duck brings both conceptual strength and operational expertise to the table—from copywriting and content creation to video and graphic production. According to the company, this is just the beginning of a long-term partnership.
