Ka Boom implements new health campaign for OST
The Gossau-based communications agency Ka Boom has won the pitch for the latest campaign by the Department of Health at OST—the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland. The campaign presents the nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing science programs as modern, people-centered, and scientifically sound.

The campaign focuses on OST's healthcare degree programs and deliberately breaks with outdated images. It is currently being played out on social media and on digital out-of-home spaces. The aim is to attract new students to the nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing science degree programs.
The central idea is "Naked: Health concerns us all". It forms the basis for a campaign that creates awareness and shows healthcare professions as modern, socially relevant activities.
Body painting and high-contrast imagery
Visually, the campaign picks up on the body-related nature of the healthcare professions by using body painting with real models and creating a bright, high-contrast and color-intensive visual world. The focus is on people in different phases of life. The subjects show closeness, movement and diversity and address topics such as touch, everyday life and technological applications.

The campaign highlights the breadth of healthcare degree programs and shows a degree program that combines practice, science and innovation. It is played out via social media and digital outdoor advertising at highly frequented locations.

Responsible at OST: Carlos Friedrich (Head of Marketing), Prof. Dr. Thomas Beer (Head of MSc in Nursing Science), Marc Richle (Project Manager Marketing), Iris Brülisauer (Marketing Specialist Department of Health). Responsible agency: Ka Boom The communications agency, Gossau SG.
