Black Belt Productions is a new film production company based in Zurich that combines high-quality storytelling with innovative production methods. "We don't use generative AI to replace the traditional craft of filmmaking, but to enhance it," explains Dominic Fistarol, co-founder of Black Belt Productions. "Creativity comes from people, technology just helps us to realize their ideas faster and more precisely."

Behind Black Belt Productions is an interdisciplinary team of experienced filmmakers with a broad background in film production, advertising, social media content and digital communication. The focus is on commercial productions, complemented by conceptual strength, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of brand management in the digital space.

"AI is revolutionizing film faster than anything before," says David Luisi, producer at Black Belt Productions. "Part of me is fascinated by the possibilities, another part of me mourns the old movie sets that I love. But the movie is constantly changing. We keep going and looking for new forms."

Black Belt Productions is a member of the Swissfilm Association and firmly anchored in the Swiss film and creative industries. The aim is to realize high-quality productions with international standards - developed and implemented in Zurich.

"Artificial intelligence not only provides new tools, it challenges the way we see ourselves as filmmakers," says Johnathan von Ah, AI Artist. "While processes change, the search for meaning, rhythm and emotion remains. Film has always been movement. We follow it attentively, critically and open to new forms."
