Evoq: Fundraising campaign for Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber

The Zurich-based agency Evoq Communications has developed the integrated fundraising campaign «Schaff es Dihei» for the Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber. The winter campaign tells the stories of Tanja and Fritz, who found shelter at the social welfare organization after years of living on the streets. Through personalized mailings, door-to-door distribution, and social media videos, the campaign raises awareness about the plight of homeless people.

Many people take a home of their own for granted - but for homeless people, this wish usually remains out of reach. Evoq Communications' fundraising campaign specifically draws attention to the fact that a home is not something that can be taken for granted. The campaign title "Schaff es Dihei" (Make it home) is a direct call for help.

Tanja and Fritz's stories take center stage

This year's fundraising campaign tells the story of Tanja and Fritz, who have found shelter at the Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber. After years on the streets in all weathers, they now find warmth, community and hope for a new start. Their stories are typical of those affected and are a central component of the winter campaign. They show that a donation provides more than just a roof over one's head. The campaign claim "Schaff es Dihei" is an unmistakable call to action.

Three-pillar strategy for awareness and donations

The fundraising campaign is based on three pillars. The first and most important tool is a targeted mailing to existing donors. Secondly, in order to reach new target groups, an eye-catching mailing is used in the greater Zurich region. Both the flyer and the mailing show real testimonials and concrete, measurable services that the Pfarrer Sieber social welfare organization provides each year thanks to the donations.

Posters, advertisements and social media films and posts create awareness for the campaign as a third measure. The matching landing page https://www.sw-sieber.ch/ enables direct donations online.

Recognition through consistent design

Central to all three measures is the recurring and consistent message with the campaign motif of a homeless person. The magenta color and the chalk line in the shape of a house are reminiscent of previous campaigns and guarantee the recognition of the Sozialwerk Pfarrer Sieber.
