VIAC, the Swiss market leader for digital pension provision, is launching its first major advertising campaign and is waving a magic wand with the claim "Magically low fees". VIAC is building on its previous TV commercials, in which the VIAC mascot has already slipped into the role of cowboys, secret agents and astronauts. With a wink, the new campaign shows that taking precautions with VIAC is not rocket science.

Prevention without hocus pocus

While traditional pension products often leave you guessing what you are actually paying, VIAC focuses on transparency. Fees are clearly shown, no magic crystal ball required. However, the main focus of the commercial is the fees: On average, VIAC's digital solution is up to 65 percent cheaper than comparable offers from traditional banks.

"Our message is simple: you don't have to be able to do magic to take control of your pension. All you need is a smartphone and five minutes' time," says Michel Schnyder, Head of Marketing & Communication at VIAC. Daniel Peter, CEO and co-founder of VIAC, adds: "Unfortunately, we can't conjure up returns, but we can ensure that pension provision in Switzerland is simple and affordable."

Campaign on TV, posters and online

The magical main spot will run on SRF 1, SRF 2 and SRF Info from November 17. At the same time, VIAC is enchanting German-speaking Switzerland on over 1700 posters. Further mini-spots will follow on social media over the course of the campaign, continuing the magical world of VIAC.

The campaign was designed and implemented almost entirely in-house. From the idea to the storyboard to the final implementation. VIAC is a leading Basel-based fintech that specializes in digital asset management and pensions in partnership with WIR Bank Genossenschaft. With the VIAC platform - which was launched in 2017 - over 130,000 customers now manage more than CHF 5 billion.
