From November 4 to 9, Winterthur will become the heart of short film. For the 29th time, filmmakers and audiences will come together at Switzerland's most important short film festival. In addition to competitions and world premieres, visitors can look forward to a vibrant supporting program with concerts, parties, talks and industry events.

Dystopian allegory with a glittery aesthetic

The festival trailer by Matthias Sahli and Immanuel Esser is the focus of the communication campaign. Their film "Algae" stages a dystopian allegory with glittery aesthetics and grainy analog charm. This striking contrast also gives the design of the advertising material an unmistakable look.
