Bell: Two sandwiches on a "Sausage Hug" mission

Jung von Matt Limmat and Bell are kicking off the summer: With a dash of humor, two oversized buns, and a missing sausage in the middle, «Sausage Hug» brings the perfect hot dog love to social media.

The story is as simple as it is humorous: two halves of a bread roll roam the Badi Pfäffikon ZH in search of their missing counterpart - the perfect sausage. But instead of grilled food, it's visitors to the Badi who are ready for a hug and who, in combination with the rolls, become a hot dog. Whether on the diving board, at the Sünnele or in front of the kiosk - the two give their all to find their "Sausage Hug".

With the "Sausage Hug", Bell is focusing on a summer campaign that emphasizes experiences rather than products. The trend for "free hugs" is playfully incorporated: Ketchup lettering on the bun costumes calls for a hug.
"Our aim was to convey the joy of summer and barbecuing in a light, humorous way - without falling into classic advertising style. With the "Sausage Hug", we are creating content that is memorable and positions our brand in a likeable way," says Nicole Schaad, Head of Marketing Services at Bell.

The bun halves are embodied by the two creators Manuel Meier (@hoi.manuel) and Ramona Brüniger (@ramonabr_), who breathe life into the handmade costumes with great dedication. The focus is on the 50-second main film, which is accompanied by five shorter snippets - the content will be paid for and played out organically on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook during the summer months.
