Christina Johansson passes away: Emmi loses valued financial expert
The Board of Directors of the Emmi Group mourns the loss of Christina Johansson. The financial expert and Chair of the Audit Committee passed away on February 7, 2025, following an illness.
It is with great sadness that the Emmi Group bids farewell to Christina Johansson, who has helped shape the company as a member of the Board of Directors since 2018. As an accomplished financial expert and Chair of the Audit Committee, she brought her expertise and broad industry experience to the Board. Urs Riedener, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasizes: "With Christina Johansson, we are losing a colleague who has shown great commitment to Emmi until the very end. We will miss Christina greatly and will honor her memory."
The Board of Directors, Group Management and all employees of the Emmi Group express their deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. The successor to the chairmanship of the Audit Committee will be announced in due course. Dominik Bürgy, member of the Board of Directors, will assume this function on an interim basis.
